The constraints plan can be viewed below. It shows the factors that influence how and where development can take place on the site and identifies features including existing bus stops, habitats, ponds and trees. By mapping these considerations, the Constraints Plan ensures that the proposals are designed sensitively, making the best use of the site while respecting its surroundings. Before any design work took place, a number of technical assessments were undertaken to better understand local context. These included:

  • Noise and Air Quality
  • Arboriculture
  • Ecology
  • Topography
  • Highways
  • Heritage and Archaeology
  • Landscape
  • Flood Risk and Drainage
